Stig Thoresen-Lassen (, Denmark 20th century) “Lama-Stolen”. Sjælden tidlig lænestol af patineret eg. Løse hynder i betrukket med patineret natur bøffelskind dybthæftet med metalknapper. Formgivet 1939–1949. Udført hos Lama 1942–1944. France and Daverkosen grew out of the Mattress Company Lama. It is believed France and Daverkosen started their production in 1947, but the Lama-chair was made for a short period between 1942–1944 by the predecessor. One of the founders of France and Daverkosen, Charles Fearnley France, made a few furniture models back in 1939–1940, however the war stopped the production of these. The Lama chair is one of those models made for a brief period during the war. It became a formula for the typical 1950s easy chair.
